What stops us from creating the world we wish to live in?
In workshops it’s enlightening to reflect on the universal Values that have been found to be present in all cultures ( see ‘What sort of world do you want to create?’ https://acping.substack.com/p/what-sort-of-world-do-you-want-to ) - no one ever says that they don’t want to live in a world characterised by Peace, Love and Freedom – so What gives? What can’t we do it?
Martin Heidegger, the existentialist philosopher wrote extensively about the notion of seeking to be free of ‘them’ and Jean Paul Sartre wrote,
“Freedom is what you do with what has been done to you”
