‘Utopia’ is a book written in Latin by Thomas More in 1516 (Full name in Latin: Libellus vere aureus, nec minus salutaris quam festivus, de optimo rei publicae statu deque nova insula Utopia, "A truly golden little book, not less beneficial than enjoyable, about how things should be in a state and about the new island Utopia"). The book Utopia is seen as socio political satire and is interpreted variously as More’s critique of 16th century Catholicism or humanist principles. It’s worth noting that the word Utopia comes from Greek and actually means ‘no place’ not ‘good place’ as it is often confused with.
